Mingei Arts literally wrote the book on Kokeshi Dolls and Japanese folk art, and it was a great experience to help them launch their site full of treasures, vast knowledge, and passion for a unique and fascinating subject.
It’s been such an honor to work with Robert and Michael for the last 10 years.
The main challenge with this site
was finding a way to organize and display all the wonderful information in a way that also gave space for the images and usability to the viewer. I linked products with artist bios, and created a network of data that is simple for the site owners to manage.
